- Hotels in Seoul. When I came to Seoul once for business I stayed at the Shilla. It's amazing. Honestly, one of my all-time favorite hotels. The staff was wonderfuly friendly (the breakfast folks taught me a new word in Korean every morning) and the rooms are great. You can obviously find cheaper places, but I wouldn't hesitate to pay out of my own pocket to stay there again.
